Congratulations to all the 2024 winners.

QuakeCon is filled with DOOM

QuakeCon, the yearly convention dedicated to id Software games, took place last week. The main focus of the convention’s announcements centered around DOOM. The classic game was released in 1993, and has been available on most consoles since that time. Those who own it will soon see new content coming their way.

DOOM and DOOM II received a “definitive” release, which includes new levels and cross-platform multiplayer deathmatch. You can read the full press release here. The upgrade is free for those who own DOOM or DOOM II, but if you don’t, you can pick up the definitive version for $10 now on your platform of choice.

Limited Run Games also announced a physical copy of the DEFINITIVE DOOM SNES experience. Better hurry if you want a copy, as only 666 will be made.
