Summer Game Fest week is one of the biggest events in gaming, with the headlining show announcing new titles and providing updates on those in production. Here are the top trailers from the show.
Control Resonant
The newest Control game was also shown at Sony’s State of Play earlier this week, but another new trailer provides more story details. Control Resonant releases September 24.
Stranger Than Heaven
The latest game in the Like a Dragon franchise already has Snoop Dogg in the game. The new trailer showed another famous (albeit deceased) rapper joining the cast - Tupac. Stranger Than Heaven releases January 15, 2027.
Resident Evil Veronica
A remake of Code Veronica from the popular Resident Evil series. The game is scheduled to launch sometime in 2027.
Gen Atlas
A new game from the director of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus showed off its latest trailer, but no release date yet.
Alien: Isolation 2
The first real look at one of the latest Alien games that is in development. No release date as of yet.
Crossfire
Crossfire rethinks cover shooters with a focus on stealth, tactical thinking and repositioning. The creators call it adaptive cover. No release date yet for Crossfire.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer
Pod racing in the Star Wars universe returns to consoles and PC October 6.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin
One of the first titles for Paramount Games focuses on one of their legendary franchises. No release date given.
Blood Message
A new single-player cinematic adventure game with, you guessed it, no announced release date.
Haex
A cooperative survival game where you and your crew battle aliens and attempt to find scarce resources. Can you survive the harsh elements?
Mighty Cuphead Adventure
This trailer actually announces two new games: a Cuphead sequel and a spin-off, Mighty Cuphead Adventure.
Gundam Rogue Orbit
Jump in your giant robot and try to save the world in this newly announced Gundam game. Gundam Rogue Orbit is slated for a 2027 release.
1666: Amsterdam
The creator of Assassin's Creed’s new game took 16 years to make. If it looks cool, the prologue is available to download now with the full game anticipated later this year.
The Blood of Dawnwalker
Nothing like a good vampire game to get the blood flowing. Face off against your centuries-old rival starting on September 3.
Clutch
A new story-focused racing game from the former creative director of Forza Horizon. Clutch is scheduled to release in 2027.
Attack On Titan 3
The latest game based on the comic and anime will conclude the series. No launch date, but more details coming July 1.
Star Wars Zero Company
The tactical Star Wars meets XCOM game has a new trailer and a release date: August 27.
Virtua Fighter Crossroads
Sega’s long-absent fighting game returns sometime in 2027.
The Wolf Among Us 2
Another game that has been in development seemingly forever has a new trailer and an anticipated launch date of 2027. Oh, and the original Wolf Among Us game is getting a remake that will be out later this year.
Stellar Blade: Blood Rain
A sequel with a new protagonist and no launch date. But it sure does look cool.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation
The third and final title in the Final Fantasy 7 remake closed out Summer Game Fest. We just posted the actual end of the show here, as it provides a great trailer and an interview with the game’s director. Of note, Final Fantasy VII Revelation is coming to all platforms in the spring of 2027.
