Could EA go Private? Answer: Yes.
The companies investing to privatize EA might surprise you

We know we said we were going to take the week off, but there were so many announcements, we figured we would put together a quick update. Anyway, on to the news. Let’s go!
Electronic Arts in talks to go private

EA could soon become a private company, according to multiple reports. The $50 billion deal could be the biggest leveraged buyout of all times. From Reuter’s article on the deal:
A group of investors including private equity firm Silver Lake, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund and Jared Kushner's Affinity Partners could unveil a deal for the publisher as soon as next week, the sources said on Friday. If it goes through, the deal would mark the largest ever leveraged buyout in history.
EA is most known for its sports games such as Madden, College Football and EA Sports FC. Editor's note: EA is in fact going private.
