The Game Awards for 2025 took place last week, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 won a record nine awards. See the full list of winners below. Also, check out some of the new games announced at the ceremony. All this and more. Let’s go!

The Game Awards 2025 winners are…

The Game Awards took place last week. One of the more notable award shows for video games, the winners are chosen by a jury of games journalists and influencers. 

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 took home Game of the Year, along with eight other awards. Here is a full list of the 2025 winners:

New year, new games!

Divinity

Apart from accolades, The Game Awards is about showing off new and upcoming game trailers. You can check out all the gaming announcements here, but these are our favorites:

Divinity

Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian Studios goes back to their roots with a new game in their Divinity franchise. The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley says it will be the studio’s “biggest game ever.”

Control Resonant

The return of Remedy Entertainment’s weird and wild government agency, Control Resonant arrives in 2026.

Megaman Dual Override

Capcom announced a new Megaman game is in development, and arriving in 2027.

Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic

Not to be confused with Star Wars: Galactic Racer (which was also announced), Fate of the Old Republic is described as the “spiritual successor” to the early 2000s Knights of the Old Republic.

Warlock

A new Dungeons & Dragons game from the creator of Dark Alliance that will feature the voice acting of Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer.
