All the trailers from Sony’s PlayStation Showcase
Spider-Man 2

Sony’s PlayStation Showcase offered a look at many new games coming out this year and beyond. While some are PlayStation exclusives, most will show up elsewhere as well. Here is what we saw.

Spider-Man 2

Let's not bury the lede, Spidy and friends return, only to go from hunter to hunted. One highlight, it looks like you can quickly switch between characters. Go from Peter Parker to Miles Morales with the push of a button. What everyone who played Gotham Knights wished that game was like. Over 10 minutes of game play in this trailer. Coming Fall of 2023.

Fairgame$

Ever wonder what it would be like to be a modern day Robin Hood, but instead of giving to the poor, you give to yourself? Okay, that's nothing like Robin Hood, but it does look like a high tech Payday clone.

Marathon

A new game from Bungie, the makers of Destiny and Halo. Not a lot about what this game is, but it looks beautiful, and one would anticipate the shooting is at least as good as their other games.

Helldivers 2

Starship Troopers, the game. Destroy big angry bugs before they kill you.

Immortals of Aveum

A science fiction and fantasy game rolled into one. Gun hands are an intriguing way to battle the bad guys and dragons. Releases July 20, 2023.

Ghostrunner 2

The sequel to the fast-paced cyberpunk game continues with what made the original game fun. Move and destroy quickly. Coming in 2023.

Phantom Blade 0

"What's your plan, knowing you have only 66 days to live?" Ghost of Tsushima meets Elden Ring.

Sword of the Sea

What if Journey had a skateboard? It's no surprise that this game comes from the developers of Journey and Abzu.

The Talos Principle 2

A beautiful looking sequel to the original. Planned release date in 2023.

Neva

The creators of Gris really want to make you cry. How many dying animals can you fit in a trailer, and still get people excited for your game? Apparently two is the answer.

Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean

Being a kitty pirate is hard. Sail, collect booty and slay enemies in this catventure. Cuddle up with it in 2024.

Foamstars

Square Enix decided they needed their own version of Splatoon, except with bubbles. As it's a Square Enix live service game, there's a good chance they pull the plug on it after a year, so you may want to play it soon after it drops.

The Plucky Squire

An intriguing mix of 2d and 3d game play, as you are an adventurer who won't be constrained by a book. Coming in 2023.

Teardown

Fake Lego cars and bombs? Sure, why not. Coming this year.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

A new Metal Gear Solid game, which is actually a remake of MGS3. Along with the remake, Konami announced they are re-releasing MGS 1-3 on PlayStation 5 this Autumn.

Towers of Aghasba

An apparent crafting game where you can collect resources off the backs of flying whales. Coming in 2024.

Final Fantasy XVI

A new trailer for the epic fantasy game that comes out June 22.

Alan Wake 2

Get your flashlight ready. The sequel to the 2010 thriller comes out October 17.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage

A new year, a new Assassin's Creed game. More of what you love comes home on October 12.

Revenant Hill

While the art makes it look like a Wes Anderson film, the game itself looks a lot like Night in the Woods. Also, cats are so in right now.

If you like your dragon and mythical beast slaying mixed heavily with anime, this looks like a game for you. Available winter of 2023.

Street Fighter 6

The latest installment of the classic fighting game comes out June 2.

Ultros

A neon-infused side-scroller that drops in 2024.

Tower of Fantasy

If your reaction was "man, fantasy anime, what I really want is sci-fi mech anime" when I described Granblue Fantasy above, you didn't have to wait long to get your wish.

Dragon’s Dogma 2

Dragons! Are you sensing a theme?

Five Nights at Freddy's Help Wanted 2

You know the drill, bears and scares. Late 2023.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape

Cayde-6 returns, as does voice actor Nathan Fillion to reprise his role. How? Who knows, but stranger things have happened in the Destiny universe.

Concord

Apparently a game about space travel, burgers (and food in general) and plants. Coming in 2024, so they (and we) have time to figure out more.

Project Q and PlayStation earbuds

Sony jumps back in the handheld market with a device that lets you play your games via stream on the go over WiFi. Also, they now make earbuds.

PlayStation VR

A number of PlayStation VR titles were announced as well. They are:

Resident Evil 4 VR Mode

Arizona Sunshine 2

Crossfire: Sierra Squad

Synapse

Beat Saber
